Find and triage conversations — search, the Overdue/Staff-Needed bands, and filters.

The Messages list is built for triage — the conversations that need a person rise to the top, and you can narrow the list in a few clicks.

Search

Use the search box at the top of the list to find a conversation by guest name, message preview, or any word inside a thread. Matching text is highlighted.

How conversations are grouped

The list automatically sorts the most pressing items into bands at the top:

  • Overdue — [NEEDS INPUT: tasks were removed in V1, so the old definition (a conversation with a task past its due time) no longer applies — confirm what the Overdue band now means, or whether it still exists.]

  • Staff Needed — conversations the AI has flagged for a human (amber header).

  • Other conversations — everything else, newest first.

Filters

Across the top of the list, All / Unread / Archived switch which conversations you see (unread carry a blue dot). The filter icon adds a status filter:

  • Staff needed — only conversations waiting on a person.

  • Handled by staff — conversations a team member has taken on.

Archiving

Hover a conversation and select the archive control to move it out of your main list. Switch to the Archived filter to find it again, where you can move it back to the inbox.
