Welcome to Viqal
What Viqal is, your first steps, and how to find your way around.

Viqal is a WhatsApp-first guest-messaging assistant for hotels. It answers guest questions automatically, around the clock, in each guest's own language, and hands off to your team when a person is needed — working alongside your existing systems (your PMS stays the source of truth for bookings), not replacing them.
How setup works
Onboarding is quick. At sign-up you enter your property name, your name, and — to give the AI a head start — your Booking.com listing and website URL. Viqal scrapes those to pre-fill most of your setup; you just review and complete the rest. Your Overview tracks what's done and what's left.
You can launch fast
You don't have to finish everything to go live. Once your PMS is connected and your welcome message is confirmed (Viqal drafts one for you), switch your assistant to Live and it starts looking after guests. Completing your knowledge base improves accuracy but isn't required to launch — keep refining after you're live. See When the AI is active vs paused.
Get set up
Complete your property setup — review and finish the rooms, amenities, policies and knowledge Viqal pre-filled, so the AI answers accurately.
Connect WhatsApp — go live on a Viqal number in minutes, or set up your own hotel-branded WhatsApp.
Connect your reservation system (PMS) — sync reservations, guests and rooms so the AI greets the right guest with the right details.
Finding your way around
Viqal's sidebar:
Overview — your home: setup progress, then knowledge health, top guest questions and quick links.
Inbox — live guest conversations.
Contacts — guest profiles and stay context.
Analytics — response times, reach and performance.
Automation — AI Behaviour, Guest Journey, Campaigns, Templates and Automation logs.
Property — rooms, amenities, policies, languages, variables and knowledge.
Settings — team, integrations, billing and account.
The status pill at the top — Live / Existing guests only / Paused — shows and changes how much your AI is doing. If your account has more than one property, use the property switcher to change which you're viewing.
