When the AI is active vs paused
Live, Existing guests only, and Paused — control how much the AI is doing, account-wide.

You decide how much your AI is doing at any moment, account-wide, with three states. Change them from the status pill in the top bar, or from the Assistant status card on the AI Behaviour screen.
The three states
Live — responding to all guests and processing new reservations from your PMS.
Existing guests only — replying to current conversations, but not onboarding new reservations.
Paused — not responding to anyone and not processing new reservations.

Pausing safely
Switching to Paused asks you to confirm first, because it stops replies even to guests who are mid-conversation. Use Existing guests only if you want to keep looking after current guests while holding back new intake.
A clear trail
Every status change is recorded — who changed it and when — and shown under recent changes on the card, so your team always knows the current state and how it got there. This is account-wide; to step into a single conversation instead, take it over from the Team Inbox.
